Character Form:
Name:
Black Lightning
Gender:
Female
Age:
7
Chosen Alliance:
Incendists
Breed:
Arabian
Height:
15.2
Physical Description:
While she is very pretty, she's not any prettier than any of the other Arabians around. She has a lithe profile, her body slimmed and fit. Muscles ripple beneath her pelt, jerking with every movement - but she is not, under anybody's critical eye, bulky. Her legs are long, her footing sure and strong. Her face dips in down the snout, rounding in like the sides of a bowl of sorts. Her pelt, though it can appear black some times, is actually a very dark bay. Because of its dark coloring even when it's dirty it appears clean - shining beneath the sun and glowing beneath the moon. On her forehead the short, fine firs change to white. The color forms together to become a star-like shape, though it is disfigured. It's more like a stripe, but it doesn't run even half way. Her eyes pierce through you, their pigment black with a slight glimmer in them. They can become icy cold though, more so than any crystal blue. Her thick mane falls on both sides of her neck in small clumps. The bases are black, but fade into a light brown at the end in some - if not most, or all - places. Her tail, however, is solid black. It's long and thick, brushing up against her back legs with every twitch of the muscle. Her strong legs are pretty much free of markings, aside from a slim cornet on her back right leg.
Personality:
Black Lightning isn't nice, in fact, the more appropriate term would be "pregnant dog". She doesn't care what your thinking, and doesn't want to know. While she is more solitary than anything, she joined a herd for protection - though she may become a rogue. She threatens to at times, but even if it does happen it won't be any time soon. She holds herself above, not everyone, but most others. She can come across as quite arrogant at times, but she knows when she is not above someone else - an opportunity of which doesn't come around all that often. When it comes to giving actual respect, however, her feelings are mixed on this. She will give it when it is necessary, but that doesn't mean she won't mumble and grumble about you later. She doesn't mind saying it to your face, but it does give her something to do later on in the day when she's bored. When it comes to big crowds, she prefers to avoid them. When the herd comes together she very rarely joins them. If she's around at all, she's normally seen on the outskirts. She definitely has a sassy streak in her though, she has seemingly perfected the art. Other horses normally leave her be, never messing with her - she always gets them back.

[center]I Don't Want The World To See Me
--------------------------------
I guess every girl has her day of misfortune. Left alone to rot in her ownunhappiness. No one giving her a second glance and to even make an attempt to surface her drowning heart is out of the question. Sorrow is the only thing on her mind as she walks to a cliff and prepares to jump. As she soars through the air a single tear falls down her face. Shining like a diamond beneath the display light at Tiffanys. She hits the bottom and pain floods through her body as she lays there, dieing slowly. She has no regrets for but the loving child that had been killed right infront of her crying eyes. Thinking that she could have done something to prevent the disaster when even she knows that fate has chosen her course.
A young mare stood hidden beneath the shadow of the tall elk that loomed over her. Its leaves turning upwards in a signal of the rain that was meant to come. The wind was fierce and the moisture in the air evidence. Birds lay nestled in their nests, their chirping no longer carrying through the air. Pestering bugs no longer a problem. Their blood sucking ways overwhelmed by the fear of rain; the element that would surely bring them death. Ebony chasms scanned the terra, watching as mares simply lifted their tails. Their fishing line casted and their catch swimming right in. Disgraceful and unhonorable. They brought shame to the sex. A loud crack of thunder rang throughout the lands, and all at once, everyone was gone. Their hooves kicking up dirt as they loped briskly off to find shelter. The lands were empty, no one dared to face the chilling rain fall upon them. And yet, there she stood. Her dished face held high and her dignity unwavering.
Though she is dieing, she summons the strength to pull herself from the grainy dirt to sit lay on the bank of a river. The water rushing past her, draining away the blood she coughs up. The murky water she stares in to act like a mirror, returning her reflection. Her hair is matted and out of place. Her skin is covered in dirt and layered in cuts and bruises. Her eyes are lifeless and dried of all their tears. A deep gash lines across her side. Her knee is split and both injuries are cased in dry blood. The pain is but a throbbing to her now, nothing compared to what she is feeling. The fall did not kill her, but she is slowly withering away into a pile of ash. The once blazing fire has died down to become useless and unwanted. If it was ever wanted in the first place.
The rain is pouring now. Thunder shakes the ground as lightning illuminates the sky. The rain pelts her coat as she emerges from the shelter of the tree to graze on the sweet grass. The water that falls on the blades keeps her hydrated, the need of water decreasing. The rain that falls causes her some pain, but she simply flicks her tail and enjoys being left alone to do as she pleases. Every now and then, she lifts her head to shake her body, water spraying out in many directions, only to leave her wet once again as more rain falls. The sky is covered beneath the clouds. No sun shines, the blackness of the cloud making it seem like dusk. Her dagger like hooves make small imprints in the softened ground as she walks forward, making her own path. No sound emerges from within her as a snapping twig is heard. Her eyes wander upwards before her head is raised slowly. Her slender neck curves around herself to face the intruder. The rain has softened, but continues to fall. Had someone noticed this troubled soul?
Her body is fighting for survival but her mind is begging for death. She lays there limp and fading, her eyes slowly begining to close. At this moment, everything is seen in a new and grateful light. The colors of the world seem brighter and the sounds around her enhanced. Her eyes are dilating, but are bigger then they should be. She is in her own world. She sees a light shining at her, calling her name and begging for her to wander closer. Calling to her. A small sound is faintly heard behind her, and the light is getting closer and closer. Words are spoken, but they are not heard and taken into account. Soft arms wrap around her dieing body and lift her from the ground. His fingers brush against her forehead as he brushes away the hair that covered her dull eyes. Tears run down his face as he relizes his mistake. He holds her close to his chest and, holding her hand, begs for her to hold on. But his mistakes triumph over his one good act, and it's too late. Her hands goes limp in his hands and all life is drained away. Her eyes slide shut and her face turns pale. The familiar beating of her heart has faded, She has chosen to leave this world, and to leave him and his lies in the process. She had been noticed at the wrong moment at the wrong time.

(it's hard doing stats like that because of her personality and breed. Her personality makes her "smart", but her breed is strong and has quite a bit of agility and strength. I don't by any means want a perfect character (that's uber boring) but...yeah... -__-')
