The Laws are pretty straight forward here. If at any point you have questions about the laws, or the RPG in general, feel free to post them under the "Need Help" board.
*These rules are subject to change and/or be added to. When they are, there will be an announcement about it and all new/changed rules will be in yellow!
General
Endrodia is a semi-realistic world, but your horse characters may not have wings, horns, jewelery etc. Horses in appearance, look like normal regular horses here. Let me list then, what makes us semi-realistic:
*The plant life and vegetation has a touch of fantasy to it. For example, you may come across purple barked trees, overly-large roses, or bushes bearing deep blue strawberries.
*All other animals in the lands, are regular looking/acting animals
Always check what season it is! Please don't just assume it's still Summer, or Winter etc.
Please be respectful of one another here. i will not tolerate disrespect towards race, sexual preference, gender, or disabilities.
No powerplaying/autoing. The ONLY acception to this rule is when your character is force breeding.
AVATARS & SIGS
Please make sure your avatar size is no bigger than 120 pixels wide!
Give credit for the image if you did not make it, and make sure you have permission to use it.
ROLEPLAY HELP!
For those that are intermediate to advanced roleplayers, you can go to the "Help Me! Roleplay" board and advertise yourself as being open to teach someone and improve their roleplaying skills!
If you are LOOKING for someone to teach and help you, simply look through the advertisements and pick your "teacher", or post a new thread asking for someone to come and help you.
MEMBER OF THE MONTH
Members of the month are chosen according to the following:
Activity
Conduct (Being friendly and respectful towards everyone else)
Spelling and Grammar
Creativity (Being original and keeping roleplay fun and exciting)
Members of the Month get certain admin privileges for 2 weeks! PLUS 100 game points added to their current amount.
FAME
This is basically the "character of the month" and "couple of the month". The most well played character is put up, and soon to come there'll be prizes given out! There won't be just one, i'll be choosing the top 3 for each month :]
Stealing!
You are allowed to steal mares or stallions, no foals.
To avoid losing your mare/stallion character, you must guess the riddle within 10 days! Riddles must include hints as to who it could be that they stole.
There must be a minimum of 4 hints in a riddle.
If you cannot guess who it was that was stolen from you, the stealer wins over your mare/stallion character!
Only 1 steal is allowed per player, once every 2 weeks, and only one steal per alignment you choose, once every 2 weeks.
You can't steal Royals, or Kings and Queens.
Posts
Players must post a minimum of one post every 7 days, to keep the roleplay active and flowing. If you don't, your threads will be moved to "A Glimpse in History" board. If you return, all you need to do is PM an admin to move your threads back and you may continue roleplaying, but know that the time you are away for 7 days without posting, if you have a character that has claimed land, that land then becomes eligible to be claimed by someone else!
All posts need to be at AT LEAST 6 lines long. When posting, think about the following:
Setting (where is my character?)
Feelings (What is my character feeling)
Thoughts ( What is my character thinking, what are they wanting to say/do?)
Other characters (Are there other characters nearby or in the same place i am wanting to post my character?) - This will all affect your character's actions, feelings and thoughts.
Weather (What is the season and temperature?) You can't post that your character is walking under a swelteringly hot sun when the season is Winter now can they?
If at any stage you need roleplaying help, i encourage you to post about it under the "Help Me! Roleplaying" board and either a fellow roleplayer, or staff member will come along to help you.
I have provided you all with a lovely spell checker in your posts when you are writing them out, so PLEASE use it Please do your best to use proper grammar too.
Swearing is allowed IC only, just don't go overboard.
Characters & Colors
You are allowed to have as many characters as you like, AS LONG as you keep them all active. If you find you are not using one or more of them, you can always put them up for adoption for another member to audition for them.
You may have more than one account here for each of your characters. I want to encourage this, rather than using just one account for all your characters, but if you wish to do it that way you may.
Please keep your horse colors natural! Eye colors, the most unusual they can be is ice blue. Other unnatural colors like greens, reds etc, you can purchase for your character with your Game Points in the Black Market board. I might allow unnatural markings if people really want it (PM me if you're a player who would really like this, so if i get a lot of requests to allow it, i will), but for the moment your horse character must keep pelts and markings natural.
Please always keep your Character Biography updated so other players know whats going on with your chars. Use the following key as well in your bio:
bold: important.
strikethrough: dead.
underline: alive.
Joining Us
You need to fill out the application form under "Becoming" and wait for it to be accepted before you begin roleplaying here.
Once you have filled out your joining application and your app is accepted, i will move it to the Accepted Apps board, and put a link in your signature to each of your characters Bio pages. Please DO NOT remove this link, it's a huge help for other players so they know the characters you roleplay and they have quick access to your character bio page.
If you apply for another character here, you do not need to include an RP example
Keep your horse height and weight realistic.
Claiming Land and Player Characters
Your horse character must be at least 3 years of age to claim land here.
Mares can escape from a stallion or alignment they do not wish to be in.
Kings and Queens are allowed to claim any stallion or mare they wish, as long as the stallion/mare they claim is in the same alignment or land as them.
If your mate is claimed by a King or Queen, you are allowed to challenge them for him/her. If you win, you keep your mate, and if you lose, your mate belongs to the King/Queen.
You can force claim someone's character into your alignment, you do not need the owner of the characters consent. I've allowed this because it makes things more interesting If you are force claimed into an alignment, it doesn't mean you can never leave the alignment.
If you want to claim for land, post a detailed post IC in the land you wish to claim. WAIT for a staff member to confirm your claim before you continue.
If you wish to claim land that is already claimed by another stallion/mare, use the same process as above, but just include a REASON for wanting their land (this needs to be a good reason). If the person you are challenging for land does not respond in 3 days (if they are not on leave/away), then you automatically claim their land. The player whose land you are challenging for must accept the challenge.
If you lose the fight for another stallion/mares land, you cannot challenge them again for 3 weeks.
BOTH mares and stallions may claim land. You can only claim land within your own alignment. So for example, an Avion may claim land within their Avion Realm. Lastly, you need to claim another mare or stallion before you claim the land.
One land claim per player please! Your character cannot claim multiple lands at one time.
Fighting
Fights will be judged while they are taking place, and when they're over by staff. Here is what they are judged on, broken down for you:
General Skill -[/i]
Quality of posts -[/i] (It's not about quantity, and the amount of players characters you take down)
Spelling and Grammar -
Any powerplaying? -
Any Godmodeling? -
Correct posting length -
Overall battle:
Character age and stats -
TOTAL POINTS -
Points will be added/subtracted from your game money accordingly.
Stallions do not always win against fights with a mare.
Fights consist of 2 dodges and 4 hits, and only ONE MOVE per post, you cannot attack and dodge in one post.
Fighting may take place anywhere, and over anything. I just ask that you PM a staff member about it so they are aware of it and they can judge the fight and determine a winner.
Breeding
Mares must be 3 years of age to breed, and stallions must be 2 years of age.
You may breed in any season. Be aware though, that your foal will have to face the challenges that come with the season. For example, foals born in winter rarely ever survive.
Semi-Graphic breeding is allowed, but please don't go into extreme detail. If you choose to be semi-graphic, please mark your post title with [MC] - Mature Content.
If you and your mate want to breed, please post the both the mother and father's stats under the Becoming Parents board. After 2 weeks, an admin will post up your foal's stats!
Force breeding is allowed, but you need to PM the player to make sure they agree to it first.
Foals
When you give birth to your foal(s), you can either roleplay them yourself, or give them to another player to roleplay.
Foals reach maturity at the age of 3.
Royals
Royals govern over their alliances. They are the ones who have the final say in important matters involving their alliance, and they can do what they like.
They can banish anyone from their realm in which they reside, they can have their own order and laws within their realm, and they can dish out any form of punishment they so choose. Some examples would be:
They could kill your character, or even put a reward out for your character's death!,
They could torture your character
They can send out another equine to have your character killed
Your character does not have to respect their Royal leaders, but be prepared to pay the consequences then!
It's all up to the Royals. As long as you follow the main site laws if your character is a Royal, you can do what you like.
Betrayal - These equines are marked with this title, if they leave their alignment to join another. They are seen as having betrayed their alignment, and they are never welcome back, banished from their territory.
Rogue - These are the equines who roam the lands as loners, they do not belong to any alignment.[/size]
